Pineapple Welcome Signs, that watch over my heart.

My mother is wonderful. This goes out to anybody who wants a caring friend, a loving conversation full of spunk and character, but don't mess with her, shes mine. I guess if you really want somebody to look up to, you can share her with me. She sure helps me on the rough days, and makes even the gloomiest days brighten. Her smile is infectious (in a good way), and i don't know anybody who is as lively as her. Considering she goes through so much, she stays beautiful, ALWAYS. The stress of being a loving wife, mother, and guardian to so many people,

that don't always have respect for the great things she does.
&& those people just don't know how to be friends with themselves.
Her Inner friendship with herself shows through her everyday battles with waking up early, being sick, driving around, and even watching the newest television shows. She is by no means a boring woman, which brings me to reason, "seventy five thousand six hundred millionth of a second that goes on for hours and hours, days, months, years, centuries, and forever in my heart even until the day dinosaurs roam the earth again." Woah, that was a lot.

She is so smart, and that definitely was passed down to me, and my awesomely amazing brother who by the way, is the nicest guy you'll meet. Usually hes even nicer than I am, but thats a good thing, hes bold in other ways. the reason i say that is, i know how great of a parent she is, and if i was dumb i wouldn't be able to see that. She taught my brother and I so many great lessons in life, and still is. Not one moment goes by where I take her for granted. Hopefully the actions I make don't affect her negatively, and the second they do, a part of me has failed. Yet with her, we never fail. Our imperfections make us her little kids, and we'll always be. she is one of a kind. Nobody, not even a famous movie star could take her place. Here are some of the MANY reasons why she is the best mommy in the world:

1) She dances and sings to songs that I don't even know.
2) She makes really good spaghetti especially, and always cooks the foods we love, even though shes allergic to everything on the planet that tastes good enough to eat.
3) She is "competent" according to various people, all of whom she loves, or barely knows. That is a lot.
4) She makes me breakfast and refuses to make me wait outside by myself, or in the pouring rain without an umbrella. its the rainy state for goodness sake. oh, and that reminds me... she loves to make goofy rhymes. ANOTHER great gene she passed onto me.
5) Her 23 chromosomes she passed on, really helped me out as of now, because I have good health, and my 46 chromosomes are all in place, even if i do need to take medication sometimes to calm me down. no matter what, i'll always love the fact she listens to me when i tell her i love science class.
6) This lady, yes allergic to cats, even though she loves all three with her whole heart, plus when they are needing inside, she willingly wakes up and lets those losers in. and she understands the humor in calling ourselves losers, since we know there is nothing wrong with us. We are a cool bunch of "humans."
7) Shopping with my mom is always fun, even though her and i clash on outfits and what looks best. She has a vibrant personality that nobody compares to. Even when she is sitting down and saying, "You better brush my hair or I'll be sad." She knows how to guilt me, but in a loving way, out of kindess. She deserves the best, and if only i could be sweet all the time, and not argue.
8) I can talk about my life with her, and sometimes she bothers me with her answers, but thats to be expected, and we always get through the struggles by talking it out later on. Sometimes i get really sad and mad with things, and i don't express myself the best, even though i have the best role model there is.
9) My mom, has so much passion for crafting, she dreams about beading necklaces i'm sure, and gets super stoked when the mail shows up with her crafting prize she won in a recent contest.
10) Another reason my mom is the best, is because she loves me and my brother extremely extremely a lot, and doesn't treat us like we are mess-ups. Never before have I seen my mom ever hurt me, emotionally, physically, or mentally.

You taught us both right from wrong.
How to tie our shoes, although we never
mastered the double knot
The rabbit went around the loop
and the basketball went in the hoop
never once did we miss a show
like barney, saved by the bell, or
how to build a snowman
in the snow

shy and timid, sweet and kind
always home on time, missed you
when we stayed at a friends
called home even when
we could have stayed in a tent

our love for you is better than gold
money means nothing because
i have your hand to hold
through the death, and the living
of the strange and empty light
follow me home
i'll always come back with delight.

you don't do wrong, your always right
no matter what happens, you'll stay
forever and always though the thick and thin
of holidays and the dinners spent away
for cats sprawled across the newspaper
that'll have my face printed
and in the credits will be your name..

under the word,

inspiration.

I can see that you love your Mom very much and I'm sure she loves you more than life itself.
You write beautifully.

If I could have had a child, especially a daughter, I would hope she or he, would have loved me the way you love your Mom. What a beautiful post this was - she is very lucky and so are you.
